The Day I Stopped Running
For over 30 years, Kara Rosenstrauch, D.C., has helped patients at All For Your Health in Monument, Colorado, take better care of their bodies. For a long time, she believed more was better. She ran over a dozen half marathons, a full marathon, and raced the Pikes Peak Ascent four times.
Then her joints started to ache and her inflammatory markers started climbing. She was exercising more than most people half her age, and getting worse. So she stopped running and started walking. Within months, her joints stopped aching, her energy steadied, and her sleep improved.

That lesson became the heart of The Minimal Dose: bigger is not better. Better is better. The biggest returns on health come from small, sustainable bets that compound over time.
Kara has tested every bet in the book on herself first. She and her husband, Kirk, are the proud parents of Bailey, Anthony, and Kelsey.
